“We’re here,” my Mom said when we got to the house. It was an afternoon in the year 2021. We went to the porch and rang the doorbell. “Ding dong,” it went. The lady that owned the house came after what felt like forever.

“Hello,” she said. We went in and saw 7 or 8 over-sized fluff balls. Some of them were in their cat-io, or cat patio. Some of them were looking out the window. Some were just sitting on the floor.

I can’t remember all of the cat names, but some of them were Luna, Mother, Little Mother, Princess, Miss, and some others. The cat that my family and I wanted was Little Mother. But the thing was, Little Mother was refusing to even let us pet her. All she wanted was to stay with her family and look outside. But that all changed when the cat lady brought her down.

When the lady that owned the house put Little Mother near us, she was letting us pet her without her getting scared. Before then, I really wanted to take Luna home. In about 15 minutes, Luna was already rubbing on me!

But when Little Mother was warming up to us, we decided that Little Mother was a good fit for us. Don’t get me wrong, I loved all the other cats. It’s just that Little Mother was probably the best for us because one had a buddy that they needed to be with, and the other was way too lazy for us.Plus, Mother was the mom of them and she took care of them.

When we took her home, she hid under the brown leather chair that no one really sits in. And even when we got her out with treats, she just moved under my mom’s bed! In about 2 or 3 days, she would come out to see us.

In the present day, Little Mother is doing just fine. She's got sitting spots, a water fountain, and a family that loves her. She has a ton of toys and things to be hyper with, a cat-io, and now that I say it, she sounds spoiled. And now that I think about it, she is!

“Are you coming or not?”said my brother. I was only 5 years old at the time. It was a ten day trip with my sister and my brother and his family. I did not know if I wanted to go or not because I was so scared I did not want to leave my mom and my dad.

Two seconds later I was in the car. I was crying a little but my sister helped me a lot. We went to the store to grab some supplies so we wouldn't get eaten by bears.

We set up all the things we needed. We went to Colorado, Texas, the desert, and a lot more places. I can’t wait to go again some time soon.

Colorado was the funnest because we got to go to the river, go out to eat, we went shopping and then we went back to our campsite. We had dinner and then we went to sleep.

When my sister and I woke up it was 8:00 in the morning.

We woke everyone up then we went to the forest to brush our teeth and get ready for a fun day. We went to the lake so my brother can fish and so we can have a calm day. My sister seen a green fish and thought it was alag and got so scared that she threw up.

When we got back, I ate a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

Last time I was going home I was in the car for TWO hours. When I got in my house it looked so different.

My dad was like “Oh my god you are home”.
